Marsdenton unintentionally looks strikingly similar to Snetterton. They both possess very similar characteristics, however, Marsdenton is a bit more modern with it's facilities and grandstands. The detailed map is monochrome, so bare with me. Public viewing at Marsdenton is split three general ways. There's the 'Silver' area ('S' on the detailed map), the 'Gold' area ('G' on the detailed map), and the Grandstands ('A' through to 'F' on the detailed map).

The run off areas are all asphalt, and further on (just in care you still don't regain control of your car) there are sandbeds and grass in various areas around the circuit.

Well lets take a run around the track.

We start of on the long pit straight. Turn 1 is very simple, however, Turn 2 proves more of a challenge. Similar to Suzuka's first two corners. The run from Turn 2 to Turn 3 (the Hairpin) is a twisty road with the throttle all the way down. The hairpin presents the first real overtaking oppotunity of the lap. Sticking to the outside could prove as a good idea as the track veers right after the hairpin. This right hander eases up, however, then suddenly comes back onto the backstraight. The corner feels never ending to an extent.

Now that we're on the back straight, the track relaxes the driver again. It's a drive up to the chicane. The chicane is simple, with overtaking possible. It's a hard left followed by an easing up right hander.

Once again, the driver can relax a little, and prepare for the final two corners. The last two corners are very fast right handers. Getting the cornering right is essential for a fast lap time, and mistakes usually end up dangerously out of control. The last corner is a little more difficult then the penultimate corner, and overtaking does occur here. The pitlane entry is on the righthand side.
