June 1994 - Hume Highway to Hume Highway
This 4km section of overdue freeway allowed traffic to bypass the notorious Cross Roads intersection at Casula. East-facing ramps were provided at the Hume Highway junction near the Georges River. Also completed was the eastbound offramp at the Heathcote Road interchange and possibly eastbound ramps at Henry Lawson Drive at the same time (or potentially later in the year).
