December 2001 - King Georges Road to General Holmes Drive
The M5 East Motorway included a full diamond interchange at King Georges Road, east-facing ramps at Kingsgrove Road, west-facing ramps at Bexley Road, a 4km section of tunnel, a eastbound offramp at Princes Highway, full diamond interchange at Marsh Street, another tunnel under Alexandra Canal before joining General Holmes Drive right next to the airport. This section of motorway is toll free.
